Using AtlasPaper

AtlasPaper is a research and learning tool for reading medical literature. It helps you discover papers, create AI summaries, listen to audio briefs, discuss papers, make flashcards, and ask questions about your saved library. By using the app, you agree to these terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license unless another license is supplied through the App Store.

Medical information and AI output

AtlasPaper is for information and research support. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, emergency guidance, or a clinician–patient relationship. Do not use it in an emergency. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, including when it appears to summarize a study confidently. Check important claims against the original paper and other reliable sources. Healthcare professionals remain responsible for their own clinical judgment and obligations.

Content you provide

You are responsible for having the right to import and process a document, link, or other material. Do not enter information that identifies other people — a patient's name, date of birth, record number, or a face in a photo. Anonymise reports and images before attaching them. Do not use the app to infringe another person's rights or breach a professional duty of confidentiality.

Content submitted for AI features is processed by Google Firebase and Vertex AI; audio briefs use a Firebase Cloud Function and Google Cloud Storage. The AtlasPaper Privacy Policy explains this processing and the choices available to you. Your imported and generated materials remain subject to any rights and restrictions of their original owners; using AtlasPaper does not grant new rights to redistribute a paper.

Subscriptions

AtlasPaper is free to download and may offer limited free use; optional auto-renewing subscriptions provide premium access. The current price, period, and included features appear in the app before purchase. Apple charges your Apple Account at confirmation. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, a subscription renews automatically. You can manage or cancel it through Apple. Deleting the app or its local data does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.

Acceptable use and availability

Use the app lawfully. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass payment or usage limits, or submit malicious content. Online features require an internet connection, and your network provider may charge for data. Features, models, sources, and availability may change. We may limit access where needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance, subject to applicable law and paid-subscription rights.

Third-party services and sources

Paper listings and source pages may come from PubMed, arXiv, publishers, or other third parties. Their content and services have their own rights and terms. The app also uses Google Firebase, RevenueCat, and Apple services.

Warranties, liability, and updates

To the extent permitted by law, AtlasPaper is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that output is accurate, complete, or uninterrupted. The provider is not responsible for losses caused by relying on AI output without independent verification, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these terms and their effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required. These service terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live. You may use a court or authority available under applicable law.
